Liverpool – Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard, Raheem Sterling advised to immediately sign a new contract and stay at the club. According to Gerrard, Liverpool is the best place for Sterling.
The future of Sterling continues speculated in recent times. Because the 20-year-old player never agree on a new contract offer from the club. He began to be linked with several other clubs.
Gerrard confident Sterling will be able to spend their full potential if it persisted in Liverpool and handled by manager Brendan Rodgers.
“In my opinion, he had to sign a new contract. But, it was beyond my control,” said Gerrard told Sky Sports.
“My advice to Raheem is he needs a manager who assured him and will help with the train. There’s nothing better than Brendan Rodgers for it,” he added.
“Brendan was fantastic in terms of dealing with the player. The danger is these young players want everything too early, but they go to another club and only add to the number,” said Gerrard.
