Turin – Paul Pogba has recovered from a thigh injury that could smother. The Juventus midfielder has returned to full training and a chance to appear in the Champions League semi-final second leg.
Pogba pulled from the gridiron since getting a thigh injury in the game against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last 16, last March. The injury made him miss the quarterfinal.
But, Pogba has now recovered from injury. He has joined his teammates in a routine training session Juve on Thursday (05/07/2015). Menu exercises include physical exercise, possession, and a match.
Pogba had the opportunity to perform at the Santiago Bernabeu next week, when Juventus hosted Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final second leg. In the first leg, Juve won 2-1.
But, coach Massimiliano Allegri did not want to take the risk if Pogba is not yet fully ready. He is likely to decrease Pogba in the game against Cagliari in Serie A on Saturday (9/5) tomorrow.
