Manchester – Already back in training after injury, Robin van Persie was predicted to play in the Manchester derby. But now he has been ruled out because it is not fully fit.
A few days ago Van Persie has returned to practice and declared recovered and ready to perform at the Manchester Derby. Van Persie was previously sidelined for several weeks due to an ankle injury in the game with Swansea City on 21 February.
Despite feeling back fit, Van Persie will certainly not be in the squad Manchester United at home to Manchester City on Sunday (04/12/2015) night. Louis van Gaal did not want to risk by lowering the players who is recovering and has not been 100% fit.
“Robin van Persie is not yet fit to return to play,” said Van Gaal told a news conference.
“I do not think Luke Shaw will be fit enough to play. I can not say they fit, but in my opinion they do not fit,” said the manager in ESPNFC.
Van Persie’s injury makes Wayne Rooney may be installed himself as the attacker. Play Radamel Falcao is another option dipunya Van Gaal for the game.
MU also still have to wait to see if Chris Smalling could be lowered after he missed the game with Aston Villa. While Shaw has not played since the Red Devils kicked out Arsenal in the FA Cup.
