Madrid – Luka Modric has not been given up to be back playing at the end of this season, despite a recent knee injury he naturally expected to make it faster to finish the season.
“My goal is to recover before the end of the season. Maybe I can recover quickly and appeared in some games. I will try with all our capabilities,” said Modric.
Modric suffered a knee injury while performing strengthen Madrid face Malaga in the Spanish league last weekend. The injury he could just about a month after he was re-sod. Croatian midfielder was absent in the period November to March because of the same problem.
Over this latest injury, feared Modric should finish the season faster. Team doctors predicted Modric will miss four to six weeks.
“I feel dizzy with the blow I received it. It really hurt me. I immediately knew that something had happened. I’m sad to be injured again, but I have to keep trying.”
“After four months of injury I feel good again and again get the best performance. But now this has happened and I have to try and attempt to get together with colleagues as soon as possible,” said the former Tottenham Hotspur player was quoted as saying by Football Espana.
Modric appeared in 16 games this season’s Spanish league and scored one goal and four assists mengreasikan. The first knee injury suffered makes Modric missed 15 games in La Liga.
