Kompany Threatened Absent in Old Trafford

Manchester – Manchester City may not be able to lower the center back their captain, Vincent Kompany, during a visit to Manchester United. Another problem The Citizens is an injury that still covered their two strikers.

Kompany was injured when City beat Crystal Palace last week. The 29-year-old central defender was still able to finish the game, but his condition is now doubtful to be able to perform at Old Trafford.

“We will ensure the conditions Kompany tomorrow (Saturday). He could finish the last game but he did not train normally this week. We’ll see tomorrow whether he can play or not. Always better to play with Kompany, but even if not we still had a team, “said Manuel Pellegrini in a press conference sessions.

Eliaquim Mangala will fill the vacancy if the central defender Kompany completely absent. He will be partnered with veteran defender Martin Demichelis.

To match with Manchester United on Sunday (12/04/2015) night local time tomorrow, Pellegrini also only have the two strikers Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko. While Stevan Joventic and Wilfried Bony been ruled out due to injury.

“Stevan Jovetic muscle injury. Bony has been problematic since the day before the match with Crystal Palace. Wrists twisted his leg so he will not be ready for this match,” said Pellegrini, ESPNFC.
