'Red Devils' win, but Jones and Blind Injury

Manchester – Manchester United’s victory over Burnley to be paid by the injury Phil Jones and Daley Blind. Especially for Jones, reportedly quite serious injury.

United’s 3-1 win over Burnley in the match that took place at Old Trafford on Thursday (12/2) pm dawn. The third goal is the ‘Red Devils’ in the game created by Chris Smalling (two goals) and Robin van Persie.

United manager, Louis van Gaal, claimed not to know how much damage Jones. However, considering he was hit in the knee, there is a possibility of serious injury.

“For Jones, we have to look around,” said Van Gaal told MUTV.

“I think the injury was serious enough. When I talked to him, he was quite disappointed. He hit his knee injury and it looks like it’s not good.”

“However, Blind suffered a head injury. I think, he will not miss the match on Monday (against Preston North End in the FA Cup).”

3-1 victory that put United up to third standings, bypassing Southampton and Arsenal. Despite win, Van Gaal admitted not satisfied with his team’s performance.

“I’m not happy with the team’s performance today,” said Van Gaal at the BBC.
