Difficult, but Pellegrini Optimistic City Chasing Chelsea

Manchester City failed to keep a distance with Chelsea after only a 1-1 draw with Hull City. However, the City manager Manuel Pellegrini’s still optimistic his team can approach and even depose Chelsea.

Playing at home to Etihad Stadium on Saturday (02/07/2015), City performed poorly in the first half. In fact, the Citizens 0-1 ahead after they burglarized goal goalkeeper David Meyler.

City could only make a reply in injury time. James Milner became the savior City through a goal from a free kick.

Yet throughout the game City dominated possession up to 75 percent. City also diligently to make the experiment a goal up to 18 times but only five times right in the direction of the goal. Hull even minimal attempt to make experiments with only seven times and only three were on target.

Pellegrini also can not believe the lack of goals in the game. But, he is not worried about the opportunities City to be champions of the Premier League.

“We try to play any other way, but it is difficult to know the reason behind the appearance that is not okay. Keilangan one point it will certainly complicate but in football who knows,” Pellegrini said as quoted by Sports Mole.

“We do not think of Chelsea which left us seven points. They could also lose. For us, more important to recover the performance of our team,” said Pellegrini.

With the result that City did not shift from second with a collection of 49 points. They are seven points behind Chelsea emergency as the top standings.
