Manchester – Manchester City are difficult to win in the last few games. City wants to break the sequence of the minor results at Stoke City this midweek.
City failed to win in the last five games in all competitions. Two of them are the defeat of Arsenal in the Premier League and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
Last weekend, City forced a 1-1 draw when host Hull City in the Premier League. The result left them seven points behind Chelsea, who still leads the standings.
Not wanting farther behind than Chelsea, City were determined to get back to winning ways. The mission will begin at Stoke at the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday (02/11/2015).
“Stoke are a team of highly organized and very disciplined. As we saw in the first meeting, if you do not focus and even lose concentration for a moment, they can hurt you, like they do in Qatar,” said City midfielder Jesus Navas on the site club official.
“We are disappointed at the time but Stoke played very well and won the match that they had not expected. They played very well today and we have to show the best from the beginning to the end.”
“We know from experience that it can play in Stoke alike in many ways, especially if their fans support throughout the game, so we have to try and excel quickly and may silence the support of the host,” said the Spaniard.
