Sunderland – Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is referred to as a figure that has changed the game against Sunderland. Praise even made by the opposite camp manager.
Sunderland had actually went ahead when the host City at the Stadium of Light, Thursday (12/04/2014) pm dawn, with a goal from Connor Wickham in the 19th minute.
However, two minutes later Aguero create a goal back. After receiving his first touch of the ball outside the penalty box, 26-year-old Argentine striker was running towards the heart of the opponent’s defense, passing a Sunderland player, and then kicked the ball hard.
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet calls that defining moment that also changed the game – to finally defeat Sunderland 1-4, with Aguero scored the other goal for the Citizens.
“We are winning first and then comes the quality of someone who is in a good performance as Aguero. He created something out of nothing (real opportunities), scored a magnificent goal, and then the game changed,” says Poyet in Sports Mole.
“You have to be good individually, full vigilance, strong, alert, and cover each slit each other. You should always concentrate and accurate,” he said when asked what it takes to stop Aguero
