Manchester – Manchester United get bad news after the win over West Ham United last weekend. One of their flagship midfielder, Ander Herrera, rib injury and is expected to miss three weeks.
In the match which United won 2-1, Herrera looks looks in pain and eventually was replaced by Antonio Valencia in the 74th minute. From the results of the examination, it turns Herrera cracked ribs.
“The Spanish midfielder was substituted on the 74th minute and the club will continue to monitor it in the next few weeks,” the official statement on United.
The UK’s Telegraph, said that Herrera could be out for three weeks. Thus, he would not reinforce United’s time to face Everton on October 5th and West Bromwich on 20 October.
New Herrera is expected to return when United face Chelsea on October 26.
Herrera has been played 4 times in the Premier League this season and contributed two goals. His role as a distributor of the ball and help defense is something that has long yearned for United in midfield.
